普渡大学 （Purdue University），世界著名老牌理工科学府，美国十大联盟创始成员，主校区位于美国印第安纳州西拉法叶市。该校有着极高的学术声望，是少数能在未开设医学院、法学院、建筑学院的前提下，综合排名依然能位列世界一流的学校。普度大学最为人所知的是其工程学院，常年位列于全美工程学院排行榜的前十，普度大学同时也被称为美国的航空航天之母，两弹元勋邓稼先和第一位登上月球的人类阿姆斯特朗都是该校的毕业生，美国宇航员中有22名是普渡校友。

课程设置
普渡大学 初期以优良工学院及农学院闻名全美，也在其他领域积极发展，一共有十个学院及十四个学校。自1878年开始授予工科学位以来， 普渡大学 保持在授予工科本科学位人数最多的5所大学之列，而且是授予妇女工科学位人数最多的大学。在美国每50名工程师中就有一名毕业于普渡大学。其工学院开设专业覆盖航空航天、农业、生物、生物医学、化学、土木、建筑、电子、计算机、工业、材料、机械、原子、勘察和一些交叉学科。

关于申请
学生可透过Common Application/Coalition Application网上申请普渡大学（择一即可），申请费用为＄60美金。成绩单及毕业证书可以直接上传至Common Application/Coalition Application，学校亦接受邮递方式提交成绩单及毕业证书。语言成绩方面，托福（iBT）要求为80以上（College of Engineering、College of Science和Krannert School of Management的要求为88以上），雅思要求为6.5以上。推荐信方面，虽为非必要材料，但是强烈建议学生提供，特别是想申请奖学金或Honors College的学生。准确信息请前往学校的Freshman Application Requirements，或咨询求真留学。
