一、学校介绍
东洛杉矶学院 （East Los Angeles College）位于美国加州洛杉矶的蒙特利公园市，距洛杉矶市中心6英里，社区安全，交通便利。学院创立于1945年，隶属于洛杉矶两年制学院系统，得到了西部学院协会（Western Association of Schools and Colleges）和中国教育部认可。学院开设27种专业科系两年制副学士学位项目，并协助完成学业的学生转往如加州洛杉矶大学、南加州大学、柏克莱大学等世界著名学府的大学三年级继续深造。学院的三年制护理专业，针对美国注册护士考试，毕业生考取率达92%。
东洛杉矶学院占地八十二英亩，有电脑室、书店、食堂、警察局、健康中心、学生公园、大会堂、著名画家达文西王子美术馆以及能够容纳二千人的爱迪生表演中心。符合奥运会比赛标准的游泳池，十六个网球场，室内篮球场、排球场、羽毛球场、棒球场、垒球场、舞蹈室，以及一个拥有二万二千座位的露天运动场（曾是1984年洛杉矶奥运会的一个比赛场）满足学生日常休闲生活。学院为每一位学生提供充分的服务，包括个人辅导、课业辅导、住屋和交通个方面的资料，国际留学生学会每年都会为留学生举办许多文化活动。
