一、学校介绍
位于西雅图市的 北西雅图社区学院 （North Seattle Community College或North Seattle College）成立于1970年，学院主校区占地62英亩，包括11英亩环境优良的湿地，在西雅图诺斯盖特区附近的校园临近Licton春天/北部学院公园，距市中心约5英里。学院靠近5号州际公路和一些城乡的地铁巴士路线，交通便利。
学院提供40多种副学士学位课程、继续教育和职业培训项目，同时提供远程教育，方便学生学习，截止目前已经培养了超过18万学生。被称为钟表技术研究所之家的北西雅图社区学院，也是美国西部唯一拥有瑞士钟表制造和专修艺术两年项目的学校。
北西雅图社区大学另开设高中大学联结课程（High School Conversion Program）。选择此项目的学生可以联读高中和副学士课程，并在毕业时获得华盛顿州高中毕业证书和北西雅图社区大学的副学士证书。高中生可以在高中阶段前往美国，完成剩下的高中课程的学习以节省时间和财力。

注：学校为语言成绩不达标的新生提供有条件录取和语言培训课程，无语言成绩的学生可参加学校测试。
四、英语课程简介
北西雅图社区大学开设英语培训（International ESL Program）：密集型英语课程（Level 1-6），为语言需要提高的学生提供进修英语的机会。学生可以在语言中心强化英语（听、说、读、写）、学习学术英语、了解美国文化。在达到第6级以后，即可进入学院开始第一年课程。学院规定，当学生英语水平达到第5-6级别之后，学生可以在进行英语培训课程的同时，选择副学士阶段的课程。该英语培训全程由经验丰富的老师担任讲师，小班教学，学生将每周参加二十小时的课程培训。
